Back To Front Studios is an independent, craft-based animation studio and specialist fabrication workshop. Founders Emma Windsor and Aiden Whittam are experienced creatives who believe in the value of handcrafted work.

Director

Aiden is an experienced animation director, designer and puppet maker with specialist skills in lighting and armature. He has worked with clients worldwide to bring a characterful and distinctive style to advertising, film and 3D illustration.

Emma is a director, animator and puppet maker with a background in 2D animation and design. She has worked with agencies, marketing teams and studios for over ten years on animation productions for clients including Legal & General and the BBC.

THE STUDIO

Our studio has the tools, tech and facilities to meet different production needs. We take on projects large and small, providing a versatile service that in collaboration with our partner creatives, enables us to expand to fulfil a variety of projects in a cost effective way. We are always thinking of new ways of working, so we can support our traditional craft with the latest digital tools and techniques.
